New Chapters

Tomorrow I begin freelancing in NYC.

There’s a lot that’s scary and weird about it all. Part of the premise of me being here in the first place was a new job. I’ll still be working at that job, but I’ll also be trying to get my own leads.

I know myself well enough that I anticipate working extra hard to counteract the loneliness I’ll feel working by myself. I also know that I’ll have to work extra hard not to dip into my savings. Luckily, I have a great group of friends here and meet new people every day. This is a great city for going out and having fun AND a great city for meeting new contacts.

Also, my new 30” cinema display will be so much fun to work on.
