Bahamian Paradise

It’s pretty much the last day of my Bahamian sojourn - complete with white sand, beautiful seas, drinks out of bottomless coconuts and almost any other cliche you can muster. My travel companions left this morning, which means an entire day to explore downtown Nassau on my own - hopefully to check out the Pirate Museum and some slightly more historical sites as well as pick up some bargains at the straw market. There’s a big part of me that wants to just spend the final day lying on the beach, but I will be strong because there are some wonderful sites and houses just begging to be explored and looked at.
